About Us

Our family purchased the farm in 2019 from a family friend.  We were impressed with the condition of the two dairy barns.  We began restoring the barns in mid 2020.  Our family is very passionate about agricultural heritage and we wanted a way to share and enjoy that history with future generations to come.  As we were in the process of restoration, we decided to have a party with some friends to see our barns.  On the evening of the party, we were all sitting outside enjoying the beautiful views when we saw several fireflies lighting up the creek.  Our friends were amazed at our beautiful views, our barns and property.  They agreed we should share this with others.  Our oldest daughter soon announced she wanted her upcoming wedding in the barn.  The name "Firefly Moments Barn and Venue" was born.  Our debut wedding was a success and we are now ready to let others enjoy the beautiful venue.  Today our farm continues to be a working crop and animal farm consisting of dairy goats, chickens, horses and several antique tractors.  We continue to farm our own land.  We hope people enjoy our venue and the friendly animals on the farm.
